Are We Gods? What Does The Bible Say

I have been told since childhood that we are not Gods and that the story of how Adam and Ever were thrown out of the Garden because they were really bad because they disobeyed.  I have been reading the Bible for many years now and many versions and also some other material from other belief systems.  I am into TRUTH.  In is my Ministry that I tell the TRUTH and so that is what I am set out to do.

In the Bible there are several instances that do tell us the WE are GODS. Many people tell me that that is not what it means and we are not deities.  What they don't realize is what God really is and what they are responsible for.

I am constantly being told by many Christians and select Clergy that what these scriptures mean is not what it actually states. Most will fight vehemently about how the Bible never says this.  They will only go by what they are told as well.  The Catholic Church’s Doctrine mentions that the Pope should keep their clergy and others in the dark about such things.  Jesus did not like the clergy of his day and told many to stay away from them.  He didn't like those teaching traditions of any kind.  He was a Rebel in his day and it did cause him to be murdered by the factions of his day.  I am so glad they don’t have that now.

It wasn't until today that I was going through the Bible of a version prior to the King James. It is the Young's Literal Translation and one that sparked my learning about the truth prior to manipulation by King James.

We Are God is mentioned a few times in the Bible.  The first mention is in Genesis 2. In Genesis God and his other God's (here they mentions that there are others and just not one) states we are gods and also about how we were kicked out of the Garden of Eden and nothing like what and how the modern church has it.

Many people are not even shown this and if they are they get confused.  It states right there that we are Gods, by the Gods themselves.  Here is that verse:

Genesis 3:22And Jehovah God saith, `Lo, the man was as one of Us, as to the knowledge of good and evil; and now, lest he send forth his hand, and have taken also of the tree of life, and eaten, and lived to the age,' --

In the verses following that it goes to show and tell us why we were thrown out of the Garden of Eden and it wasn't because we didn't listen or Sinned.

23 Jehovah God sendeth him forth from the garden of Eden to serve the ground from which he hath been taken;  yea, he casteth out the man, and causeth to dwell at the east of the garden of Eden the cherubs and the flame of the sword which is turning itself round to guard the way of the tree of life.

The next scripture that I it is mentioned is Isaiah 41:22-24. In Isaiah It tells us how it all works and what to expect. Jesus tells us in the New Testament what things to be aware of.

Isaiah 41:23-24

Declare the things that are coming hereafter, and we know that ye [are] gods, Yea, ye may do good or do evil, And we look around and see it together.  Lo, ye [are] of nothing, and your work of nought, An abomination -- it fixeth on you.

It holds us accountable for each of our thoughts, emotions, and deeds done. This takes away the need to blame other people and unseen beings for things that happen in your life.  You and you alone are responsible for things that happen in your life.

One of the first things that come to pass with your thoughts is emotions.  What you put behind those thoughts that you have towards others will come right back to you in one way or another.  Of course you have no idea what that will be but it will come back to you.

What most get wrong and what religion teaches is that We Are NOT Gods because they associate that with being a deity.  A deity is all knowing and seeing yes, and so are we when it comes to what Jesus tells us, be careful with your thoughts because they will come back to you.  How are they going to come back to you if ...you cannot see them or know them.

You are mixing up EGO with GOD. There is a huge difference. I and you are responsible for our thoughts and actions because they are what manifests and brings things into your world or out of it. THAT is the God Jesus is referring too. The EGO thinks that they are better than another and has power over others and things of nature. Not the same at all. So when something bad happens to one then they must ask themselves what it was that brought that to them and not all things that we think are bad are not.....same for the good. Many Christians are taught this and it is wrong.
No, the meaning of  “We Are Gods” is to make us aware of what things we can do, whether they be for good or for not so good reasons.  Jesus stressed in the New Testament that we should be careful with our thoughts.  Thoughts become things and the emotions that you put behind them dictates what kind of outcome you will receive from them.   So be aware of your thoughts and your actions because that is what you will bring to you.  If you are unhappy about a situation ask yourself why or what you did previously that you would have this brought to you.  What is the lesson to be learned in the situation?

Jesus goes to tell us more about this in John 10:33-35

John 10:33-35Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

The Jews answered him, saying, `For a good work we do not stone thee, but for evil speaking, and because thou, being a man, dost make thyself God.'  Jesus answered them, `Is it not having been written in your law: I said, ye are gods?  if them he did call gods unto whom the word of God came, (and the Writing is not able to be broken,)
In these few verses many take it that Jesus called himself a God, but what he really said is that WE Are Gods.  He goes to say that that is or what should be the written word and the truth.  Many have changed the Bible and when you read these things it does make it look like they translators or whomever wrote the words to the Bible got it removed or didn't even put it in the books to begin with.  I think Jesus was setting this right.  It makes sense if you read what was said in Genesis 2 and Isaiah 41.
*It was Paul that told us the opposite in Acts 19:25-27.  Paul mislead a lot of people in his day when he said and did things that are opposite of what the Christ taught.  Christians don't follow Jesus on these things, they follow Paul.  They are not Christians who follow Jesus Christ, but they are Pauleans who follow someone who never say or talked to Jesus, but claimed something that he was not Read About That On Endless World
Here is that scripture:

Acts 19:25-27whom, having brought in a crowd together, and those who did work about such things, he said, `Men, ye know that by this work we have our wealth; and ye see and hear, that not only at Ephesus, but almost in all Asia, this Paul, having persuaded, did turn away a great multitude, saying, that they are not gods who are made by hands; and not only is this department in danger for us of coming into disregard, but also, that of the great goddess Artemis the temple is to be reckoned for nothing, and also her greatness is about to be brought down, whom all Asia and the world doth worship.'

The most important scripture in the whole of the land and years is the same that almost every single other religion or belief system should rely and adhere to is:

Matthew 5:43-45

`Ye heard that it was said: Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and shalt hate thine enemy;  but I -- I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those accusing you falsely, and persecuting you,  that ye may be sons of your Father in the heavens, because His sun He doth cause to rise on evil and good, and He doth send rain on righteous and unrighteous.

Many times and many ways is it said in the Bible that We Are Gods and many ways we are told how this is and how to operate ourselves so that good things can come to us.  Why we are not taught this from the first days in a religion in Bible Study and school and church....that is beyond anything that I know.  It should be taught everywhere.  Maybe this world will be a better place....then again it may be an awful place to those who only wish peace and tranquility for by that nobody learns or can think for themselves.  As the above scripture says, They may also be the work of the Father in the heavens.
